Lisa and I watched The Wolf Man the other night. The movie stars Lon Chaney as Lawrence Talbot (who becomes the Wolf Man). Claude Rains plays his father, Sir John Talbot, and has one of the more famous lines in cinema history.

This is pretty good.

Nebraska vs. Missouri

Nebraska and Missouri play Thursday night in Columbus. Perhaps will see some plays similar to these nuggets from past meetings.

Mr. Baseball

One of my favorite photos of Kevin as a little boy. Little did we realize at the time that he's a lefty!! He decided to give up his baseball career and concentrate on weather, cartoons, astronomy and volcanoes.

Baseball's over (in Chicago)

The baseball season is mercifully over in Chicago. The Cubs lost to Arizona to finish the season at 83 - 78 while the White Sox at least had a meaningful last series before losing to Detroit to finish their season at 79 - 83. The Sox were relegated to a spoiler role as Detroit was in position to clinch the American League Central title if they won two of the three weekend games. Instead, the Sox won two out of three forcing Detroit and Minnesota to play a one-game playoff (play-in?) game Tuesday.

Now we look forward to a cold winter while both teams ponder what to do next.

At least the Bears are now showing signs of life and -- one quarter into the season -- have won three games in a row after dropping their opener. Who knows how the Bulls will do this season. At least the Blackhawks seem to have a clue on what their doing. The season just started for them in Finland where they split their opening series with the Florida Panthers.

About four months until spring training!

Welcome!

Welcome to my comic! It’s called The Vast. Basically in this comic I have two people named Mark and Jerry. They mainly just do random stuff. Sometimes they will do some crazy, but dangerous adventures. I named it The Vast mainly because I just thought of it randomly. They will be posted daily with a long one on Sunday.

Now for some info about me. My name is Kevin Cornelius. I am 14 years old and live in Illinois. I have Asperger Syndrome and it has made me very smart -- mostly at math and science. I am creative and like to talk a lot. I can get shy in a crowd of people but am otherwise nice. The creation of this comic just came into my mind. When I read other comics in the newspapers, it made me want to make one of my own. Thus The Vast was born!

Halloween decorations

Lisa is trying to get all of our Halloween decorations up before the Bear game kicks off at noon. The sun is trying to come up too so I will install the outside floodlights after the game ends. I love fall!

Finance Committee Democrat Won’t Read Text of Health Bill

I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” Carper told CNSNews.com.
At least this senator is honest about not reading the health reform bill. I wonder if any legislator plans on reading it?
What a bunch of tools!!!

Google Wave

Google Wave is the "next big thing" to come out for the web. In this blog post, Damond Nollan explains how Wave works and how it can be used once it's released to the public. So far only 100,000 preview invitations have been sent out to users. My invitation obviously got lost somewhere. :-)
