24

Watching Season Two (Day Two) of "24". The Audience Network (Channel 239 on DirecTV) is showing the episodes. They ran Season One last Saturday and Season Two on Sunday which I recorded.

It's been several years since the show debuted and I had forgotten how good it was for the first few seasons. It's also interesting to see the actors who played minor roles in "24" who are starring in other series right now. The actress who plays Abby in "NCIS" had a minor role in Day One and the actor who plays Deeks in "NCIS Los Angeles" played George Mason's son in Day Two.

Benghazi hearing

It was announced this afternoon that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently fell and sustained a concussion. It was also announced that said concussion will prevent her from testifying in a congressional hearing on the Benghazi attack.

While I don't want to suggest that she is intentionally skipping out of the hearing, I can't figure out why we expect athletes to participate in their sport after suffering a concussion, but Sec. Clinton cannot sit at a table and testify about what happened in Libya.

Saturday evening

Relaxing on this lazy Saturday early evening listening to classical Christmas music on my iPod. Corned beef is simmering on the stove.

Israel and Iran

It's pretty clear that Israel and Iran will be going head-to-head soon. I hope the U.S. has some kind of contingency plan since we will get sucked into it.
