Danelectro electric guitar

This is a Danelectro electric guitar. The year and the model are unknown. According to a Danelectro website that I frequent, the headstock dates the guitar to somewhere in the '50s or '60s. I communicated with the website owner and he thinks this was a prototype guitar, not a stock guitar. Both Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page have played "Dano" guitars. In fact, Page plays a black 59-DC in the studio version of Kashmir from the Physical Grafitti album

It has the famous Danelectro lipstick pickup and has a raw "garage band" sound to it.
