As speculated by many technie publications, Yahoo! has now joined Google and Microsoft in the desktop search battlefield.
I currently have the Google and Microsoft desktop search applications sitting side-by-side on my home computer. I've used the Google desktop search a couple of times, but have not yet tried the Microsoft product. I do like the way the Google search tool integrates desktop with web searches.
